HOW TO PREPARE YOUR RAW PAMPAS The Pampaskoning Method

01 — The Pre-Style Shake Before building your arrangement, take the stems outside and give each one a quick, deliberate shake. This loosens the fibres, lets the plumes breathe, and gives you more workable volume to design with.

02 — The Sun Treatment If time allows, place your stems in direct sunlight for 2 to 3 hours. The warmth softens and expands the raw plumes — more texture, more depth, more material to work with. A small step that makes a visible difference.

03 — Trim & Create Cut with confidence. The slender stems respond beautifully to standard floral shears — trim to length, layer into dense compositions, tuck into bouquets, or weave through an arch. There are no rules here. Only what you make of it.
