OUR STORY

Our Story

Born from a belief that nature, refined, becomes art.

Groningen, Netherlands  ·  Est. 2021  ·  Serving Europe & beyond

Where it began

A single stem.
An unshakeable conviction.

"We believe a single stem can transform a room — and a wedding into a memory."

Pampaskoning was born in Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands, from a simple but stubborn belief: that botanical design — done properly — is not decoration. It is architecture. It is emotion made physical. It is the first thing guests see and the last thing they forget.

What started as a passion for natural materials and sculptural form grew, piece by careful piece, into one of Europe's most distinctive luxury botanical brands. Every pampas tree, every bonsai sculpture, every dried arrangement that leaves our atelier does so because it met a standard that has never been compromised: exceptional quality, undeniable presence.

We did not set out to build a product company. We set out to change the way people experience the spaces they inhabit — their homes, their events, their most significant days. The brand followed naturally from that intention.

The Pampaskoning Standard

Three principles.
No exceptions.

01

Craft over convenience

Every piece is handcrafted. No shortcuts, no mass production, no compromise. The hours spent shaping and constructing each botanical statement piece are visible in the result — and that is precisely the point.

02

Material integrity

We source only the finest dried botanicals — selected for scale, texture, density and lasting presence. A Pampaskoning piece does not wilt. It deepens with time, the way great design always does.

03

Design as statement

Our pieces are not background elements. They are the focal point of the room. Designed to command space, hold attention, and remain relevant — whether in a penthouse living room, a luxury hotel lobby, or a wedding venue in the south of France.

The Atelier

Made by hand.
Delivered with intention.

Our workshop in Groningen is where raw botanicals become something else entirely. Towering pampas trees — some reaching 350 centimetres and beyond — are built from hundreds of individual stems, shaped into forms that feel simultaneously wild and deeply considered. Bonsai sculptures are composed with the patience of a sculptor, not the speed of a supplier.

This is not a warehouse with a shipping desk. It is an atelier with an eye for proportion, balance and scale — the same qualities that make a great piece of furniture, a great building, a great garment. We apply those principles to botanicals, because we believe they deserve no less.

Every order is packaged with the same care given to its creation. Fragile stems protected. Proportions preserved in transit. Whether your piece travels thirty kilometres to a home in the Netherlands or three thousand to a penthouse in New York, it arrives as it left: flawless.

Who we serve

From Groningen to the world.

Pampaskoning began as a Dutch brand — rooted in the landscape of the northern Netherlands, in the aesthetic sensibility of a country that has always understood how to live beautifully within space. It did not stay local for long.

Today our pieces grace homes, boutique hotels, luxury retailers and wedding venues across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Austria and the United States. Our B2B clients include interior designers who trust us as a quiet collaborator, event stylists who understand that scale creates memory, and wedding planners who know that a Pampaskoning tree is the room's most photographed element — every time.

For direct customers, we are the brand they discover when they decide that their home deserves something they have never found in a shop. Something that took someone's hands to make. Something permanent, in a world of temporary things.
