PRESERVED BLACK RUSCUS
Description
PRESERVED BLACK RUSCUS Fine leaves. Deep contrast.
— Real ruscus, preserved by hand — Matte black, from leaf to stem — Approx. 55cm per stem — slender, branching, graphic — Set of 5 stems
Ruscus, turned to ink. The same slim stem, the same small pointed leaves, now drawn in a single deep black, so that every branch reads as a line.
We didn't imitate the plant. We kept it. Preserved while still soft, coloured through, every leaf and every branch left as it grew. Light, fine, and utterly dark.
Five stems in a tall vase, leaning apart. Or against white walls and pale oak, where the black becomes drawing.
No water. No wilting. No falling leaves. Only the same deep tone, season after season.
Sold as a set of 5 stems, approx. 55cm each.
Preserved. Lasting.
